Situated over two floors on 101 Collins Street, the BCG workplace has been designed by BatesSmart to respond to the surrounding Melbourne context, thereby differentiating it from other BCG offices around the world. Melbourne’s defining Hoddle Grid was used as inspiration and helped define the spatial planning and distinct architectural elements such as feature lighting, glazing strapping and flooring.

Importantly, the space provides a variety of different work settings, from collaborative zones to areas which offer concentrated team working, away from the traditional work points. A variety of flooring was used to help define these spaces.

Representing a modern and contemporary style of design, the visual impact created by using the combination of Bolon collections and the unique weave/texture of the flooring throughout the corridors added a touch of creativity and interest in the space.
